In July 2022, the IGU will celebrate its 100th Anniversary at the IGU Centennial Congress in Paris. The event will be hosted under the auspices of the French Committee for Geography (CNFG). The main theme of the event is “Time for Geographers”, it is geared towards “widen dialogues between geography and society and reaffirm the significance of the geographical approach for our time”. The congress is planned as an on site event, as far as conditions allow. More information on the event and a detailed schedule for submissions can be found here.
